We have seen the release of the jailbreak for iOS 7 but it has been just for certain versions of the Apple iPhone.
A video was posted and this showed the Apple iPhone 4 jailbroken running on iOS 7.1, this came by way of Twitter from @wincom.
The jailbreak is only for older version of the Apple iPhone, this should include the Apple iPhone 4, the iPod Touch 4th gen and of course the first gen iPad.
It has been said that the newer generations of the iPhone are harder to jailbreak and this is down to the fact that Apple have tightened up the security measures.
When they released the Apple iPhone 5S and 5C both had tighter security and so jailbreaking has been harder.
Up to now the Evad3rs team have been very quiet about the jailbreak for iOS 7.1 from wincom, of course this may mean that they are working on their own jailbreak.
When Apple launched iOS 7 last year, there were many things wrong with it and owners said that they had issues when trying to download the update. This was due to the servers of Apple as so many people were trying to download it at the same time.
The Evad3rs then launched the iOS 7 jailbreak in December, but it appears that jailbreaking iOS 7.1 is going to be a great deal harder.
