If getting ban from the public lobby is not hard enough for the cheaters in GTA 5, Rockstar is also stripping away all the RP points the players have accumulated.
GTA Online has been changing weathers all the time. One day, things can be very peaceful while on another, it is an all-out war. As we all know, players have been exploiting a glitches and bugs as a mean to make money and there is nothing Rockstar can do anything about it since it is a mistake at their end.
However, the latest bug discovered appears to be the last straw. The bug apparently allowed players to gain unlimited RP in rapid successions.
The game developer has now released the fix to this and warned the players against cheating as henceforth today, cheaters will also lose their RP points. This will happen if the player is caught using mods, hacks, DNS redirects, manipulation of cloud files, or other unfair actions. Rockstar further added that this won’t be the case if the RP points are grinded for legitimately.
At the moment, GTA 5’s multiplayer mode is in a state of turmoil. Despite getting cheaters ban, it appears that there is no way the players will ever stop cheating.
Rockstar is working hard to fight this ongoing war. After all, analyst has revealed that the microtransaction feature can gift Rockstar with $100million in profit annually.
