Of course, the aforementioned price is after conversion from the GBP since the Civic Type-R has yet to make an entry in North America. This is worrying as the Civic Type-R might cost more when it makes its debut here in the US.
Then again, avid Honda fans can forgive and bear the extra cost since the Civic Type-R came out with revolutionary performance. In detail, the sports hatch is now the record holder for being the fastest FWD hatchback at Nurburgring.
Besides, the overpriced perception derived from the pricing patterns of a Honda car. The Japanese brand is not a luxury carmaker and seeing a Honda vehicle priced above the $50,000 mark will surely sound ridiculous to the masses. However, this is the Civic Type-R and the hatchback is special.
