The Ford Focus RS is expected to arrive somewhere in Q3 this year and it will be slotted above the Focus ST. Also, the sports hatch is going to run on a newly-developed 2L EcoBoost engine with at least 300hp to offer.
Clearly, the next-gen Focus RS is an exciting vehicle to look forward to. However, the fans here in the US are worried that the Focus RS won’t be getting a local release due to the availability of the Lincoln MKC and also the Ford Mustang.
Both vehicles are powered by the EcoBoost engine and it makes adding the Focus RS into the pack sounds like a bad business decision.
Well, the fans can put their worries to rest as Ford has already confirmed that the Focus RS is going to get released here in the US. This is not surprising really as the Focus badge is one of America’s finest productions and there is no chance for the next-gen RS to miss out on a local debut.
