We are days away from the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and with so many rumours, speculations and leaks surrounding the upcoming smartphone, there is so much confusion among the fans.
First and foremost is the device’s processor. The common agreement is in a tie with one-side believing it to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. On the other side, it is hinted to be the Exynos 5422. Knowing Samsung, they will stick to the Qualcomm quad core processors but expect it to be a much newer model than ever.
Then there is the display. Will the Galaxy S5 offer QHD display or will it be Full HD. This is still an unclear segment with many rumours hinting that Samsung will upgrade the display further. However, we feel that it will be short of QHD but offer a crisp image like never before.
Next is with the RAM. The latest Note 3 has 3GB of RAM. Will it continue on the Galaxy S5? Or will Samsung keep it at 2GB? The Galaxy S5 is always expected to be better than the rest. As such, Samsung would want to overpower the device. As such, expect it to be 3GB.
Finally is the built. Some say that the S5 will be made of metal for the first time. On the other hand, there are speculations on two variants of the S5 with one being plastic while the other, metal. This is more likely as there have been so many leaks to back it up.
We hope we manage to clear some air prior to the unveiling of the Samsug Galaxy S5 this Monday. Next week will certainly be an exciting one as we cross-tally the rumours and the real thing.
