The Jeep Renegade will be upgraded for 2017. The upgrade will include adding in a new turbo engine for the Jeep Renegade model.
The 2017 Jeep Renegade will still come in with the standard engines. The 2.4 liter Tigershark engine which has an output of 184hp as well as the 1.4 liters Multiair turbocharged engine with an output of 160hp.
Besides those two engine options, it has been reported that Jeep will also offer a new 2.0 liter 4 cylinder turbocharged LJD II engine which will be even more powerful than the 1.6 liter Multijet diesel engine.
Jeep has not revealed details about how many ponies the engine will be offering but it is believed that the engine was added to the line-up to target the Indian market and that the new engine will be there when the 2017 Jeep Renegade arrives in India.
