The HTC One has spent a lot of time on the A list at PC Pro and now the HTC One M8 is being released with the hope that it will contend with the Apple iPhone 5S, the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Nexus 5, which is also an A lister. In order to do this it would need to have improvements over the predecessor.
As it happens the HTC One M8 does surpass its older brother in numerous aspects. One of the better additions is the fact that HTC have included support for SD card. Another is the fact that there is the duo camera system and the graphics and CPU have been updated.
The display is larger, slightly and the multi-tasking and back buttons take up some of the extra room. The camera on the front is 5MP and this offers twice the resolution of the camera on the original handset.
On the downside is the fact that the HTC One M8 is larger and heavier than the original. It does have the same larger pixels and it offers a dual camera solution, this adds depth to photos.
