We have all seen how BMW kept itself ahead of Mercedes by offering a wide variety of luxury SUVs for the masses. Now, the latter is planning to retaliate after it launches a brand new Concept Coupe SUV.
The Concept was unveiled by Mercedes’ CEO, Dieter Zetsche, during the Annual Shareholder’s Meeting of Daimler AG in Berlin yesterday. Speaking about the vehicle, Zetsche claims that the Concept will be fully unveiled during the Beijing Auto Show next week.
Then again, Zetsche couldn’t hold his excitement and wishes to show off the virtual design yesterday. Everything about the study looks great. It seems that Mercedes has finally found the perfect balance between luxury and sporty.
At the moment, nobody has a clue on what the Concept will be called and what it will offer. Some hinted that the upcoming production will be carrying the MLC designation. The doors on the Concept strongly resemble those from the CLA and CLS.
Once the Concept comes into production, expect it to be a serious challenge to the MBW X6.
