Volkswagen will be adding a new Volkswagen Beetle Convertible Denim Edition to their Beetle lineup. The model will be released as a limited edition model and will come with more than a few exterior upgrades.
According to Volkswagen, there will only be 2000 units of these Volkswagen Beetle Convertible Denim Edition model in the market. Inspired by the 1970s Jeans Bug, the Denim Edition model comes with a Dark Blue top that looks like denim. Customers can choose to have the car in White or Stonewashed Blue.
The denim design can also be found on the inside, on the seats, along with a 5.0-inch touchscreen display. Under the hood of the limited edition model is a 1.8 liter turbocharged direct injection TSI gasoline engine that will be delivering about 170hp and 184lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission unit.
The new edition will retail for $25,995.
