Verizon Nexus 5 Suggests Nexus 6 Delay To Be True

Both Verizon and Google can’t get along with each other, which explain why we were surprised when the American carrier started selling the Google Nexus 5. Furthermore, the smartphone is offered really late.

Of course, we are clueless on how Verizon and Google managed to bury the hatchet out of a sudden. Some analysts revealed that the Nexus 5 is really important for Verizon. Aside from the fact that it is the first ever Nexus smartphone being sold by the Big Red carrier, the Nexus 5 will also open the doors for the Nexus 6 to be offered by Verizon.

Perhaps, the carrier saw the potential of the Nexus 6, which is currently the most anticipated device in production. However, the upcoming device is tipped to arrive in November this year which gives Verizon little time to bag the profits from the Nexus 5.

On the other hand, there are many rumours hinting that the Nexus 6 will be delayed for a release until next year. This information may well just be true, and thus explains why Verizon wouldn’t mind selling the Nexus 5 this late.
