The 2016 Ford Explorer Facelift: Changes Are Minimal! [PICS]

Last week, spy shots that are believed to be for the 2016 Ford Explorer Facelift have surfaced on the internet and it confirms that the changes coming with the vehicle is going to be a subtle one.

This can be seen with the camouflage that only wraps the front and tail section, thus, suggesting that the changes are limited to those areas only. Even with the camouflage, we can still look beyond it and notice a new pair of headlights and a redesigned grille. The fog lamps are also new and are repositioned on the lower bumpers.

Over at the tail section, there aren’t that much changes except for the fact that there will be new light clusters and bumper design. On the downside of things, the spy shots failed to reveal anything on the vehicle’s interior.

Nothing is also revealed on the sort of engine that will be powering the 2016 Ford Explorer Facelift but we feel that it is going to be the 2L EcoBoost that is able to generate 240hp. The top of the range model will be a 2.7L EcoBoost that generates 300hp.
