The 2015 Ford Edge SUV To Resemble A Hyundai Santa Fe

The new Ford Edge Concept showed up a new flagship SUV made for Europe much like the Sante Fe.

Work on the Edge is expected to begin in 2015 and is going to be just above the Kuga midi-SUV and the EcoSport compact. It has been speculated that this new car will use a new Fusion/Mondeo platform.

The SUV has a very sophisticated appearance and comes with a BMW style air curtain under the front bumper and a aerodynamic front fascia. The vehicle will also include Ford’s Active Grille Shutters which have been made to boost the aerodynamic efficiency and also to help control the temperature of the engine.

The vehicle’s interior shows off a touchscreen display of 10 inches which will store all of Ford’s Voice Control functions and also the Ford SYNC. There are a number of different buttons located below the display which are used to control the rest of the car. The car also includes an Obstacle Avoidance system and a Fully Assisted Parking Aid. The Obstacle Avoidance system is used to give drivers a warning whenever there is an incoming object and will steer the vehicle away and brake it automatically if the driver doesn’t spot them. The Fully Assisted Parking Aid is designed to help drivers move in and out of parking spaces.
