The Tesla autopilot system is not what we would call a huge success especially with new reports claiming that the autopilot might be the cause of some Tesla accident but Tesla is not ready to throw in the towel yet as they continue to upgrade their Autopilot system.
A new report from TechnoBufallo is saying that Tesla might be working on an upgrade Autopilot 2.0 that will be coming soon. In fact, it was suggested that the upgraded Autopilot might come with the 8.0 software update.
It is believed that the Autopilot 2.0 will work with the new dual-camera hardware that will not only allow the Tesla model to detect stop signs automatically but it will also detect traffic lights as well.
Tesla has been getting a lot of heat for their Autopilot feature so this too will be heavily scrutinized when it finally arrives or if it arrives.
