Toyota RAV4: Better Take The Front Seat

You might want to take the front seat if you are on the Toyota RAV4 because it looks like you will be safer in the front compared to the back.

Canada’s transport ministry is looking into one of the Toyota RAV4 crash where the back passenger perished while the front passenger survived the crash. According to the report, the seatbelt could be the reason why the rear passenger sustained more damage than the front passenger.

It was discovered that the rear seatbelt might have been cut when it came in contact with the steel part of the seat frame. The results of investigation have led to the recall of 2.87 million units of the Toyota RAV4.

The recall will affect the 2006-2012 Toyota RAV4 as well as the 2012-2014 Toyota RAV4 EV model. Affected models will be getting a resin cover added to the metal seat cushion for free.
