Nurburgring Test Is Not A Selling Point

It seems that more and more carmakers have opted to test their upcoming vehicles over at Nurburgring before launching them as doing suggests that the car will be a serious performer.

However, it is a mistake for automotive firms to think that Nurburgring testing can be used a selling point for their upcoming vehicles. Our team of interns did a consumer-based research last month and a flat 90% of those that participated don’t desire for top speed at all.

When questioned why, majority of the consumers pointed out that car top speed today are already satisfying so they are not so particular about it when purchasing a car.

One of the survey questions ask the consumers to reveal on the things they look into when purchasing a performance car. The common answer is acceleration and also fuel economy.

With more and more cars congesting every city roads, it is important to have great acceleration and also fuel economy. Otherwise, a Ferrari can end up like a Toyota Corolla in a freeway at Los Angeles.
