Nissan Rogue A Thief Magnet Now, Recall Issued

The Nissan Rogue might be the next target for thief since they can easily push it away now with the gear lever refusing to stay at Park.

Nissan has issued a recall to recall back the Nissan Rogue after they found out that the vehicle’s shift selector knob has the tendency to shift out of the Park position even when the brake pedal is not being applied.

Owners might not notice that the gear has shifted out of Park position which can cause the vehicle to roll away unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash and also making the vehicle a little more vulnerable now.

Affected models will be Nissan Rogue that were made from the 10th of February 2015 until the 13th of May 2015. A total of 33,880 model will be affected by the recall. Owners will be notified by Nissan to get their Nissan Rogue inspected. If necessary, Nissan will replace the shift selector knob for free.
