4A have now made it clear that they are working on a new game. They announced it on Twitter by releasing a teaser image from the upcoming game.
They did not reveal the name of the game and the fans are going crazy trying to figure out what it is. It is clear that a lot of fans are hoping that this is the Metro 3 however, as nice as that sounds, some fans do not think that Metro 3 is the game.
The fans pointed out that the Metro games were based on the books and since there is no third book, there will not be Metro but other argue that there is the metro 2035 which was released last year. Other think that while it might not be Metro, it could be a brand new game based on the new book by Metro author Dmitry Glukhovsky called Futu.re.
We probably won’t be getting an answer anytime soon.
