All the attention is on the McLaren 570S and little do the masses know that there is another McLaren sports car in development and it will be known as the 540C. The latter is expected to get fully unveiled later this year and it is going to be slotted underneath the 570S.
In other words, the 540C is also going to be much cheaper than the 570S. While McLaren has already shared on the pricing of the future 540C but the reveal was made in British pounds. When translated to American dollars, we can expect it to retail from $160,000.
This makes the 540C a whopping $30k cheaper than the 540C. Of course, the 540C won’t be as powerful as the 570S since it is going to have about 533hp to offer. Also, we don’t expect the ceramic brakes to come on the 540C at all.
