MacBook Air 11-inch Review: It Makes The iPad Air Look Good

Late last year, Apple launched the all-new MacBook Air. This latest generation, like all those before it, came out in three different sizes. However, we highly recommend consumers to stay away from the 11” MacBook Air.

This is simply because the smallest of the pack is lacking tons of basic features as a standard. In detail, the 11” MacBook Air does not come with a HDMI port, a microphone jack and also a memory card slot. Furthermore, the display lacks IPS technology which means that viewing the screen from different angles will result in colour distortion.

Apparently, the lacking basic features was due to Apple’s desire to turn the 11” model into an ultra slim MacBook Air. Then again, the absence of the ports also suggests that the 11” MacBook Air is limited to web browsing and basic office work.

As such, consumers are best advised to get the 13” or 15” model as they come completed with all the ports as a standard. The 11” MacBook Air is simply miserable and consumers should rather get the iPad Air instead.
