It is unsure if Capcom is out of ideas or games from long long ago truly deserve a remake. The game developer is now being tied to a rumour mill where it is planning to do a remake on the classic game, Dino Crisis.
Producer of the Resident Evil series, Masachika Kawata, responded to this claims by not denying it. Instead, the lad revealed that Capcom is not afraid to bring back older IPs to new generations.
Kawata added that it is better if the game developer look forward to creating new IP. Doing so would see the company move forward instead of lingering in the past.
On the gamer’s point-of-view, they are afraid that Capcom might destroy the legacy of the past. After all, Capcom has faced so much criticism with the Resident Evil franchise.
We are still hoping for more details on the matter from Capcom. A query has been sent to the game developer but it is still pending a response.
