GTA 5 has long been released now and the buzz for GTA 6 is already brewing among the GTA community. This has led to a hoax about GTA 6 going viral around Twitter.
The hoax came in the form of an image with the quote, “Final Version of GTA 6 now avaible”. There is also a link placed there but it is unsure on where it leads to.
The image used is the one seen back in December last year which was created by a fan, Patrick Brown. It is basically a painting of every GTA protagonist sitting together in a room. There is CJ from San Andreas and even Michael from the latest GTA 5.
It is amazing on how such a thing managed to go viral on Twitter even though it is clearly a fake. On the other hand, the image is a great piece of art worth appreciating.
If there is to be anything about GTA 6 on the image, it is probably with the guy who has just entered the room.
Fans who viewed the image can’t tell who the lad is. Some hint it is Huang Lee from Chinatown Wars. It can also be the upcoming protagonist for GTA 6. After all, the message based on the character’s entry into the room clearly hints that he is the next entry.
Nevertheless, fans had a great laugh making fun of the viral and those who believed the image clearly don’t follow GTA news well. Even spelling Nazis took the opportunity to mock the word “Avaible”.
If there is to be a GTA 6, it will be somewhere next year. Then again, 2015 is still too soon.
