The Ford Focus RS is no easy model to beat which is why some models here in the US might be threatened by the released of the Ford Focus RS and that might include the popular Subaru WRX STI.
The Subaru WRX Sti got a lot of attention when it was first released thanks to the powerful powertrain that it was offering but for years, the Subaru WRX STI progress has been slow and unimpressive which means models like the Ford Focus RS will easier slip pass it.
The Subaru WRX STI currently runs on a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine that will be pushing out about 305hp. The WRX Sti will offer about 17mpg in the city and 23mpg on the highway.
The Ford Focus RS on the other hand will come in with a 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine that will be delivering about 350hp and will only need 4.7 seconds to go from 0-60mph.
