Skylake 2015 Retina MacBook Pro: Fingers Crossed!

When it comes to computer chips, Samsung is leading the industry as it has produced the world’s first 14Nm processors while other companies are still stuck with 20Nm nanochips. Well, that is the case until today when Intel revealed that they are also producing 14Nm chipsets.

The tech company calls it Skylake and the chip will be a direct successor to the Broadwell. Intel further teased that Skylake will be ready in mid this year but they have failed to share on any specific release date.

Even so, the rumours are very generous in sharing that Skylake will make its debut before summer this year. If so, then there is a chance for Skylake to feature on the upcoming Apple MacBook Pro.

Apple has already made it clear on their desire to integrate Skylake with their future devices and if the rumours are right, the processor will be available just in time for the MacBook Pro. This will also bless the laptop with like advanced wireless networking as well as charging.

Of course, there is no confirming on Skylake’s debut date yet so it is best to take this with a pinch of salt. When Skylake does get released, then we can expect the chipset to feature on future Apple devices.
