It is savings galore for consumers looking to purchase the iPad. As for the fans of tablets from Apple, the price cut on the iPad Air and the iPad Mini 2 simply signals the coming of the highly anticipated iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3.
H.H. Gregg is offering the iPad Air 16GB Wi-Fi only for$459.99. This translates to $40 in savings. The 32GB and 64GB variants now cost $559 and $659.99 respectively. As for the iPad Mini, the deal is not that interesting as prices for the 16GB version only enjoy $20 in discount.
The deals got sweeter over at BestBuy. The retail giant is slashing off $100 for the iPad Air and iPad Mini Retina Display. This includes both Wi-Fi and cellular models. The downside is that the devices purchased come with a two-year contract with Sprint, Verizon or AT&T.
For the best savings, consumers can check out the Apple Store. The 16GB Wi-Fi iPad Air is selling for only $420 whereas the 32GB at $510. This is certainly the cheapest around. However, they are refurbished model. It still works fine but it won’t appeal to those who dislike pre-owned items.
As for the successors to the existing iPads, notorious leakster, Ming-Chi Kuo, revealed that the iPad Air 2 will be coming this year. This will thus push the iPad Pro launch to next year. The iPad Mini won’t enjoy a successor this year.
