Prince of Persia franchise fans thought that this was the year where we will be hearing more the new Prince of Persia game but that did not happen. Even though Ubisoft has never indicated that they are working on a new Prince of Persia game, a lot of people assume that they are working on one after a new Prince of Persia game was teased on Twitter by a Reflection staff.
The staff posted an image on Twitter and in the image was pictures from the last few Prince of Persia game. At the end was a black column with a question mark in it. That had lead many to believe that Ubisoft is working on a new game but no new details about a new Prince Of Persia game were reveal after that.
There were some talks about the Prince of Persia game being a 2D game just like the new Rayman.
