Polestar’s S90 & V90: V6 Ignored, Smaller Engine Chosen

There have been a lot of talk about Polestar would be working on a more powerful version of the Volvo S90 and V90. Based on the new reports, it looks like we might be getting a more powerful model although you can forget about seeing a V6 under the hood.

Motor Trend reported that the Polestar version of the Volvo S90 and V90 is expected to produced about 600hp. They also added that the Polestar will be getting all that power from their 2.0 liter four cylinder engine.

It is estimated that the engine will be able to push out about 450hp on its own. Combine that with another electric motor and the vehilce should be able to hit the 600hp mark.

There is not a lot of details about the vehicle right now so we will have to wait and see what happens in the future.
