We were all excited when Overkill first announce that they were going to work on a new The Walking Dead game but things have definitely slowed down after the announcement and at this point, we are not sure if people are still waiting for the game to be release.
One of the reasons why people were so excited was because Overkill will be the one working on it. After what they did with Payday 2, the fans couldn’t wait for them to take on the popular franchise.
We know that there is already the Walking Dead game from telltale but the one from Overkill will be way different than the one by Telltale. For starter, the Overkill version will be a co-op game. It will also be a first person shooting game.
The original release date was set sometime in 2016 but it is now believed that the game will only be arriving at the end of next year. By the time the game arrives, we are afraid that the hype for it will be gone by then.
The Walking Dead by Overkill will be released on PC, Xbox One and the Playstation 4.
