Nissan Frontier: Quality Was Never The Issue

The Nissan Frontier was just picked as the top mid-size pickup in the J.D. Power 2016 U.S Initial Quality Study putting them ahead of models like the Chevrolet Colorado, and Toyota Tacoma which means the Frontier is the best when it comes to build quality but why are they still trailing behind models like the Toyota Tacoma.

Well, the issue here is not really the quality but the model itself. Customers have been waiting for them to come out with a real upgraded version but Nissan does not seem to be too interested.

The current Nissan Frontier comes in with a 2.5 liter inline 4 engine that will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The engine will be delivering about 152hp and 171lb ft of torque. The Nissan Frontier will also return about 19mpg in the city and 23mpg on the highway.

In case you are wondering, the GMC Canyon came in second followed by the Colorado and the Toyota Tacoma.
