We were expecting Nioh to do well after all the marketing that Koei Tecmo did for the game. Games like Dark Souls have been getting a lot of attention recently and the fact that Nioh was going to be something like Dark Soul mean that the Dark Soul fans were going to want to try it out.
What we did not expect was for the game to do so well that retailers are running out of stock. It has been reported that Amazon has already sold out all their physical copy of the game and that the game will not be available until 1 or 2 months later.
In fact, Amazon is not the only retailer that has run out of stock. Even GAME in the UK and a few other retailers in Australia have reported that they’ve sold out the game. Of course, if you can’t wait to play it, you can always get the digital version.
