It has not taken Best Buy long to cut down the prices of the new 2012 MacBook Pro models. The store has cut down the price of a new laptop by $140 over the weekend. The largest discount can be enjoyed by those wanting the MacBook Pro Retina 8GB model with 512GB solid state hard drive as you can now get it with savings of $140 for $2,659.99.

You can get the least expensive of the Retina Pro models with $110 savings on the regular price of $2,089.99 and the MacBook Air has a price cut too with savings of $50 bringing the price down to $949.99.
The MacBook models got a facelift recently and now feature the Ivy Bridge third generation of Intel’s I series processors and have been upgraded to USB 3 and HD 4000 graphics silicon, plus many other features. The latest addition to the family of MacBook Pros have a 2880 x 1800 pixel density with Retina display and include the Nvidia GeForce GT 650m graphics chip and many other features. The models which have been discounted are available only in store and as Best Buy changes their prices very quickly, if you want to grab yourself one of the latest MacBooks with reductions, you had better do it fast.
On a side note, the Apple Store continues to maintain the same price points for each of the devices in the 2012 MacBook range and we haven't seen any other retailer follow suit just yet.
