Microsoft Lumia 950 Did Not Save The Day

Even with impressive products like the Microsoft Lumia 950, Microsoft Lumia 950 XL as well as the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet, Microsoft and their Windows OS seems to be slipping further behind.

The latest numbers released by Gartner reveals that Microsoft and their Windows 10 OS is slipping further behind while Android jump higher. According to the latest data, Windows went from 2.8% to 1.1% despite all the updates, new features and devices they had to offer.

Android manage to climb from 76% to 80.7% while the other operating system like IOS and Blackberry also dropped. Apple went from 20.4% to 17.7% while Blackberry went from 0.5% to 0.2 which does not come as a surprise since Blackberry seems to be making the switch to Android as well.

Gartner also revealed that Samsung remains one of the top-selling smartphones in the market with 20.7% shares while Apple comes in seconds at 17.7%. Huawei came in third but it is far from catching up to the top two with only 8% market share.
