Mazda CX-5 Stop Sales Announced, Not Taking Any Chances

Mazda will be issuing stop sales for the Mazda CX-5 after it was discovered an issue with the fuel filler pipe might lead to a fire.

Not only will Mazda be stopping the sale of the Mazda CX-5 but they will also be issuing a recall to recall back those that are already on the road. A total of 264,463 units of the Mazda CX-5 will be affected by this stop sale and recall.

The fuel filler pipe on these model might rupture in a rear collision which would lead to a fuel leak, which will then lead to a fire. Those affected will be the 2014-2016 Mazda CX-5. According to Mazda, there have no reports of fire so far but Mazda is not going to take any chances.

The latest Mazda CX-5 sales will stop until Mazda comes out with a solution for the problem.
