LG Nexus 5 Battery Life Problems Soon To Be Eliminated

The issue was first spotted on the LG Nexus 5 and Google claims that it is due to some errors with the phone’s driver that caused the camera app to run in the background. This continues to happen even after the camera app is closed.

On top of that, Google claims that other applications are to be blamed for this as well. Apps like Skype are known to run in the background all the time. This is not helping if the bug is active.

Blaming aside, Google added that they have been creating a fix for it. The high CPU usage was due to mm-qcamera-daemon and the fix for it will be available in the next update. That update is exclusive for the Nexus 5 only.

The update is expected to be the Android 4.4.3 KitKat and it is unknown on when it will arrive.
