LG G2 owners enjoy new Android 4.4.3 KitKat features

It seems that LG G2 owners who are with Verizon are going to be treated to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. This is thanks to a custom ROM that can be installed but you do need to have some idea of ADB to install it.

If you have rooted your device then it shouldn’t cause you any issue. So if you do have the Verizon version of the LG G2 and you want to update then check the information below.

Download the ROM which comes with the build number of VS98012B. You will then need to gain root access of your LG G2 and you can use Autoprime for this. You should then download the bin file, rename it and then put it onto the handset.

Input the ADB codes and after this reboot the device. When you get back into the handset after the reboot you will see Android KitKat 4.4.3 is installed.

Of course there is always a risk of bricking your handset even though the process if fairly straightforward.
