LG G Flex 3: The Forgettable One, Outshined By V20

By  |

It seems like all we hear about now is the LG V20 that LG will be announcing this month but what about the LG G Flex 3? We know that they are going to announce it at the IFA this week but does anybody care?

It sure does not feel like anybody cares about the LG G Flex 3 at all and we can see why. The previous model did not do that well compared to the other LG smartphones and not many people are actually looking for to the next Flex smartphone.

The fact that the LG V20 is going to come in as the first Android smartphone to come running on the new Android 7.0 Nougat would also mean that it will be getting more attention from the android community.

There is not a lot of details about the Flex 3 yet but it is believed that it will be coming with a 5.5inch curved screen display and will back with a self-healing back. It will also be running on a Snapdragon 820 CPU with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. There were also talks about it coming with a modular design like the LG G5.

Ya that blows. The LG Flex 3 should be just like the original flex. An upgraded phone that has a 6 inch display. The next gen flex should be a beast. The 5.5 inch display will suck. To me the flex 3 will fall in line with all the other main stream phones. Just like Apple and Samsung. I really have not seen any phones that are worth an upgrade. I have not upgraded in 4 years. The reason?
Mundane phones. Not alot of excitement going on now days with all of the new phones coming out. I was waiting for the LG Flex 3 to be announced. But with a 5.5 inch display I can wait a little longer.

As once an LG user. I have been waiting fore the Flex 3. I loved the Original flex. I really did not care if the Resolution was 720 x 1280 pixels. The large display was awesome. I was very disappointed when the Flex 2 was released. The smaller display was really a turn off for me. I have been reading lately that the Flex 3 is going to be the same size as the flex 2. What a disappointment. I do not understand LG’s reasoning for the smaller display. It will be among all the other main stream phones. Which are boring to say the least. I will be watching the unveiling of the 3rd edition flex. I sure hope that it will not be disappointing. If it is I will jump ship and go to nexus.

The only way the V20 will out shine the next generation flex, is if the flex 3 is released with a 5.5 inch display. And that my friends would suck. But if in fact if a 6 inch display is on the flex 3 then it might steal some thunder of the V20. Like that might happen.(not) I am on sprint. As you all know sprint likes a mundane lineup of phones. That is why no LG v10 is at sprint. I am not interested in the V20 for that reason. Let’s just see what happens at IFA.
