Kingdom Hearts 3 Character Voice Tapings Start This Summer Onwards Only?

Sora looks set to finally defeat the darkness that has been plaguing the Kingdom Hearts world once and for all. Of course, that will have to wait until Kingdom Hearts 3 gets released. The third and final sequel will conclude the entire Kingdom Hearts franchise and it will be the biggest title currently in the makings.

While Square Enix are busy working on Kingdom Hearts 3, Sora’s very own voice actor has surfaced, revealing some great information on the much anticipated title. Haley Joel Osment has been the voice of Sora since the first game back in 2001.

During a short interview with Zap2it, Haley revealed that he is hoping to return for one last time. After the announcement on Kingdom Hearts 3, both Square Enix and Haley have been heavily in talks on being the voice of Sora for one last time.

At the moment, Haley hints that the developers are hard at work. The voice actors are only needed once the game’s fundamentals and establishment are done and dealt with. Haley also added that sometimes other voice actors are called upon to play Sora if an event where the protagonist doing some time traveling is to happen.

Haley then concluded that he believe that once the mechanical aspect of the production is done, then he will start recording the scripts. This could be as early as summer. If so, then fans can expect Kingdom Hearts 3 to arrive before 2015.
