There is an overwhelming amount of excitement for Kingdom Hearts 3 and fans can’t wait for E3. The major event happening in June this year will have its spotlight on Square Enix as the game developer is expected to reveal more about Kingdom Hearts 3 and the game’s release date.
However, there is a portion of fans that are not entirely happy with Square Enix. It seems that the game developer is keeping quiet on Kingdom Hearts 2.5. This title was supposed to come out this year and is meant to be the remake of Kingdom Hearts 2.
After all, it has been so long since Kingdom Hearts 2 got released and Square Enix should take responsibility to give the second instalment that much needed update.
Could it be that Kingdom Hearts 2.5 got cancelled? Many fans noticed that only Kingdom Hearts 3 is available for pre-order on various retailers but not 2.5.
There is a certain mystery on Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and Square Enix might address it during E3. If the game developer avoided the subject, then there is a chance that 2.5 is not coming after all.
