iPad Mini 3 & iPad Air 2: What We Already Know Probably

Both the iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2 are two of the most anticipated tablets from Apple coming this year. Looking at previous release patterns, the Mini 3 and the Air 2 are expected to arrive in Q3.

Many rumours have surfaced over the months for both tablets but we have been following KGI Securities as their take up on the Mini 3 and the Air 2 makes perfect sense. Here are the things that both tablets are likely to feature.

Processor

Both the iPad Mine 3 and the iPad Air 2 will be running on the 64-bit A8 processor. This is also a brand new processor that offers better performance and graphics rendering.

iOS 8

Every year, a new iOS pops up. This year will be the year of the iOS 8 which is expected to be unveiled during WWDC in June.

Super Camera

Fans can look forward to an 8MP rear camera for both slates. Despite the small pixel count, the cameras are feature-packed and will look to perform like its iPhone counterparts.

TouchID

The fingerprint scanner from Apple has been a success on the iPhone 5S. Expect it to feature on the iPad Mini 3 and the iPad Air 2.

The pricing of both tablets is expected to repeat its predecessor where the entry level iPad Mine 3 cost $400 and the iPad Air 2 at $500. It won’t be long until WWDC now but users can start looking forward to these features for the tablets.
