HTC One M8 Still Going Strong Despite Age

By  |

Most smartphone will start to have a lot of issue after 2 or 3 years and that is when people usually switch out their smartphone. That is also the time when the manufacturer will stop offering them software support as well.

The HTC One M8 has been around for 2 years now which means it will not be getting the new Android 7.0 Nougat update. Users can always wait for the custom ROM to arrive and update it themselves but is the HTC One M8 really worth keeping?

Some users have already started reporting that the HTC One M8 battery is starting to give them problems. Some reported that they device will shut off even when it say that it still have 15% of battery left. Since the battery is non-removable, fixing it is not going to be easy as well.

However, they are other that reports that the device is still going strong for them and that everything is still working just fine.

I’m using the phone for just over 2 years and it’s going OK. A few issues with turning off at 12% battery though. The current trauch of htc phones are quite expensive
