Ford’s Sync 3 Is Prove That Going Blackberry Was The Right Move

Ditching Microsoft and the MyFord Touch might be the smartest move Ford made last year. Ford customers have had to deal with the problematic and frustrating infotainment system for some time now but luckily Ford has decided to put an end to it.

Replacing the MyFord Touch infotainment system will be the new Sync 3 infotainment system that Ford created with the help of Blackberry. The new infotainment system will be running on the QNX operating system by Blackberry.

According to Ford, their aim for the new Sync 3 infotainment system is to make it simple and easy to use. Blackberry and Ford also design the system so that it will recognize some of the common smartphone touchscreen gesture like pinch to soon and a few more swipe gesture to make navigation faster.

The Sync 3 will be available on all 2016 Ford and Lincoln model.
