Ford Sync 3: Blackberry Showing Microsoft Who’s The Boss

The older Ford infotainment system was always been describe as one of the worst infotainment. Compared to the other brands, the MyFord Touch by Ford is often described as being the more complicated and difficult to use.

Ford finally caught on and has now decided to replace the old MyFord Touch infotainment system with a new Sync 3 infotainment system. The older MyFord Touch was created with the help of Microsoft.

The new Sync 3 infotainment system, on the other hand, will be using the QNX system by Blackberry. According to Ford, their aim is to come out with a new infotainment system that will be easy to use and understand.

The new infotainment system will also be able to recognise some of the standard touchscreen gestures like swipes and pinching to zoom to make things easier for their users. The Sync 3 will replace the MyFord Touch and will come in all 2016 Ford and Lincoln model.
