Ford Ranger Next To Get The Call

Ford is still busy cleaning up the mess Takata-made with their faulty airbag inflator as the automaker has now issued a new recall to recall back the 2004-2006 Ford Ranger.

According to the report, the recall will affect 391,396 units of the Ford Ranger. This was issued after a driver of the Ford Ranger was killed last year. It was later determined that the faulty airbag was the reason behind the death of the driver. It is believed that this is the 10th death caused by the faulty airbag inflator although most of the cases were Honda cases.

The recall will affect models from the US, Canada, Asia, South America and a few other markets.

Those affected by the recall will be notified by Ford next month around the 22nd of February. Affected models will be given a new passenger side airbag inflator. Ford has also announce that they will not be getting their airbags from Takata last year.
