Dodge Viper Given One Last Chance To Reclaim Record

The Dodge Viper ACR was the one to fear in the past when it comes to fighting on the Nurburgring track but that is no longer the case now since Porsche took them down with their Porshe 918 Spyder.

The Dodge Viper ACR previous record for 7:12.13 while the Porsche 918 Spyder managed to break that with their 6:57.00 record. Dodge has already announce that they will be discontinuing the model and the fans are hoping that they would see the Viper ACR attempt at beating the Porsche 918 Spyder once more before it steps off the stage.

While Dodge will not be doing that, a group of Viper owners is working to make that happen for the Dodge Viper ACR. They’ve already set up a GoFundMe campaign in hopes that they can raise about $159,000 to bring the Viper ACR to the Nurburgring track so that they can give it one last chance.

They are now just $47,000 away from succeeding. If they manage to collect the funds, Viper Exchange will provide them with two Viper ACR for free.
