We know that it will be a long time before we will see another game set in the Witcher universe. In fact, nobody knows of CD Projekt Red will ever go back there again but it might not be the end for the Witcher yet as some fans seem to believe that we might see one of the characters from the Witcher 3 make an appearance is the upcoming new game Cyberpunk 2077.
Some fans pointed out that in The Witcher 3 when Geralt was talking to Ciri, she mentioned something about hiding in the other world. She talked about the world where everybody had a flying ship of their own and that people were fighting wars from afar. Well, that sounded a lot like the future to us.
Although we don’t think Ciri will play any big role in the game, we think that a cameo would be nice. There is very little detail on what Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be about so all we can do now is wait.
