Buyers of the 2014 Hyundai Genesis In US Get Shafted

People who own the 2015 Hyundai Genesis in Korean have something over the residents of the US as they have a feature that hasn’t been offered to residents in the US.

This feature is the on-board camera that is used to detect speed cameras and if you haven’t noticed them, slow down the car for you. This can save you from getting a nasty surprise through your letterbox.

Apparently this feature is only available on the Korean version. Perhaps this could be due to it still being in development or maybe the lawyers have not given it the thumbs up to be used in the US.

The Genesis will have preloaded GPS that allows it to track speed cameras and record the speed. The car will then send an alert to the driver and apply the brakes to slow the car down to make sure it doesn’t go over the speed limit.

It will also offer adaptive cruise control, lane keeping technology and emergency braking features.
