Brabus Rocket 900 Addresses The Needs Of Speed Demons

Back when Mercedes-Benz launched the S65 AMG, there were a handful of individuals claiming that the car is underpowered. Mercedes heard them well and if the AMG tuning doesn’t cut it, the German luxury carmaker pas the S65 to Brabus.

The result is now here at the Geneva Moro Show and it is known as the Rocket 900. Brabus basically took the S65 AMG and gave it a huge boost by equipping the vehicle with a 6.3L V12 engine, new turbochargers, exhausts, air intakes and many more.

In figures, the Rocket 900 generates a whopping 887hp and 1,106ft-lbs of torque. That is a massive jump from the initial figures of 621hp and 738ft-lbs of torque. This enables the car to sprint from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and there is also a 217mph top speed.

So, for those that were whining on the S65 AMG from Mercedes, they can now opt for the Brabus Rocket 900. Oh, please do note that the latter retails at $400,000.
