The Android One was first spotted in Indonesia when it came out running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop ahead of every other smartphones including the Google Nexus 6. Now, it appears that the Android One has finally arrive in Philippines.
There are a lot of conspiracy theories suggesting that it is Google that planted Android One in a random country as a test for future Android updates. With the Android One spreading to the Philippines, the brand sounds like an fast-growing corporation instead of a lab rat.
There are also other conspiracy theories that the Android One is a sub-branch of the Nexus 5 as it comes with high-end specs but a mid-tier cost.
