Android Nougat vs iOS 10: Nougat Crashing Issue No Worse Than iOS

By  |

Some users have already started reporting that their apps seem to be crashing a lot more on the new Nougat. In fact, some people even went and claim that the app crashes happens more often on an Android device compared to an iOS device. Some people just like to watch the world burn.

While it is true that there have been apps crashes on the Android Nougat, it is not more than the iOS 10. Some people pointed out that the reason why users might feel like app crashes are not as common on the iOS is because Apple does not tell you about the crashes.

The Android OS will inform their users that the app has crashed but in the case of the Apple iOS, the system will just take you back to the home screen and many people would just assume that they might have accidentally selected to go back or might have click on the home button.

Android also freezes when there is a crash while the IOS immediately send you back to the home screen so the Android crashes are mode obvious.

This is a terrible article. Where are the facts to back any of this up? Who are the people that pointed these things out? How do you “accidentally selected to go back” in iOS 10? I know you can go back to a previous by clicking on the top left of the screen but that just takes you to the previous app, not the home screen.

And people assuming they’ve clicked on the home button? Surely they’d know. It’s not something you can mistake.
