2018 Toyota Camry TRD vs Ford Fusion Sport: This Would Be Fun

Toyota might be working on a Ford Fusion Sport fighter as spies spotted what they believe is the TRD performance version of the upcoming Toyota Camry.

We have already seen the new Camry design earlier this year and this test model had a few features that do not seem to match the Camry we all saw earlier this year. Like the small boot lid lip spoiler as well as the quad tailpipes that has been incorporated with the bumper.

If Toyota does offer a TRD model, the model could be coming in with a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will offer about 295hp. It will also be mated to an eight-speed auto transmission.

Do you think it will have what it takes to take on the 2017 Ford Fusion Sport? The Ford Fusion Sport will come in with a 2.7 liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that will be offering about 325hp and 380lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission.
