Here is the thing, the Mazda CX-5 is one great looking SUV with great offerings but the one thing that their customers are hoping would be upgraded next year is the engine under the hood.
As good as it is, some customers seems to feel that the Mazda CX-5 is lacking in power and that Mazda should be doing something about it. We now know that they can probably do something about it if they want.
When Mazda showed off the Mazda CX-9, they also showed off their new engine that the CX-9 was running on. According to Mazda, the engine was designed so that it would be able to fit under the hood of the other Mazda model.
With so much time left to work with the Mazda CX-5, some people believe that the 2018 model will most likely come with the new engine. The vehicle should also come with a few exterior upgrades including a grille upgrade as well as a new set of lights in the back and in the front.
